Cinnamon Sticks

1 package frozen puff pastry, thawed

½ cup sugar

1 ½ tablespoons cinnamon

 

1.  Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

2.  Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

3.  Roll out puff pastry into 2 large rectangles.

4.  Sprinkle both sides of the pastry with sugar cinnamon mixture.

5. Cut pastry into1/2 inch strips

6.  Lay strips on lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake for 12 minutes.

 

Apple Cranberry Crumble

10 lbs. Cortland Apples

1 cup flour

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

1/2 cup sugar

½ cup margarine

1 can cranberry sauce

 

Preheat oven to 350’. Grease pan. Peel, core, and slice apples; place in pan. Mix flour, brown sugar and sugar in a bowl. Mix in margarine until coarse crumbs form. Pour cranberry sauce over apples, even out into thin layer.  Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples. Bake for 1 hour or until apples are tender and crumb topping is crisp. Serve warm or cool.

Note: Extra delicious when served with vanilla ice cream.
