Alan Veingrad was a starting Offensive Lineman with the Green Bay Packers and the 93 World Champion Super Bowl Dallas Cowboys. He won five game balls in his career for game winning performances in front of Brett Favre and Troy Aikman. With Alan blocking Emmit Smith earned the rushing title and awarded Veingrad with a signed Rolex as a token of appreciation. Veingrad was inducted into East Texas State Sports Hall of Fame. Throughout his career he retained a strong sense of Jewish pride. When his teammates would join hands and recite the Lords Prayer, he would recite his own Jewish prayer. Following his retirement from football, Veingrad became intrigued by Judaism. At 6 foot five, with a kipah and flowing beard Alan Veingrad has served as an inspiration to thousands.
